The Alpha 6 is Timberwolf’ s premium American-made commercial log splitter, designed to produce over 2 cords of highquality firewood per hour. It features a 22-hp engine, a 5-inch hydraulic cylinder and a regeneration manifold, delivering 58,905 pounds of splitting force with a 7-second cycle time. This setup ensures efficient and comfortable operation throughout the day.
The Alpha 6 includes several standard features for ease of use, such as a hydraulic wedge lift with 8 inches of vertical travel, a hydraulic log lift with a 500-pound capacity, and a 40-inch wide by 36-inch long table grate. These features support efficient oneperson operation, minimizing the need for additional help.
The splitter can be customized with various wedge options, including three box wedge sizes to produce uniformly-sized firewood. The floating auto-retract arm on the box wedge pulls the unsplit portion of the log back into the splitting chamber, allowing operators to process large blocks with minimal re-handling.
